Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use voklogik.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What Voklogik is

Voklogik is a mortgage analyzer that estimates a monthly payment from the information you enter and lets you save or print the results.

Estimates only

Results are estimates for planning purposes. They are not a loan offer, a rate quote, a loan estimate or other lender disclosure, or financial, legal or tax advice. Voklogik is not a lender or a mortgage broker. Your actual payment and costs depend on your lender's terms, your credit, taxes, insurance, fees and other factors that may differ from our assumptions. Please confirm all numbers with your lender before you make a decision.

Free reports and paid plans

• Free use. The analyzer is free. Each browser can save or print 5 reports for free. We may change this limit.
• Report pack (individuals). $4.99, one time, for 25 additional reports. An individual can buy one pack per calendar month. People who need more, such as mortgage professionals and realtors, should use a business plan when available.
• Monthly plan (closed to new customers). The $9.99 per month unlimited plan is no longer offered. Existing subscribers keep it, subject to reasonable use, until they cancel. It renews automatically each month on the day you first subscribed (on the last day of shorter months) until you cancel. You can cancel any time with the Manage subscription link on this site or in your Stripe emails (sign in with the email you used at checkout), or by contacting us at hello@voklogik.com. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for.
• Business plans. Topaz Tier is available to mortgage professionals and realtors. Opal Tier is coming soon. Both are described under "Business plans" below.
• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude taxes. If we change a price, the new price applies to future billing periods.
• Your browser. Paid reports are linked to the browser you bought them in. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, you may lose access. Contact us and we will try to help.
• Refunds. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will consider a refund.

Business plans

Plans for mortgage professionals and realtors. Prices and features may change for future billing periods, and we will tell you before they do.

• Topaz Tier, $29.99 per month. Requires a Voklogik business account. Up to 200 branded reports per billing period, with the logo, headshot, contact details, MLS number and NMLS ID you choose to add. The 200 reports reset when each billing period renews and unused reports do not carry over. Each saved or printed report counts as one.
• Billing. Topaz Tier renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel or update your card at any time from the Topaz page. Cancelling stops the next renewal and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not store your card number.
• Opal Tier, planned at $79 per month (coming soon). Everything in Topaz Tier, with unlimited reports (subject to reasonable use), plus a co-branded Voklogik page (a shareable link or an embed for your website) with the payment estimate and the Affordability check, and a dashboard with lead alerts and the scenarios your visitors run. Topaz Tier does not include the page, lead alerts or the scenarios dashboard. When a visitor uses the widget on your website and asks to be contacted, the lead is shared between you and Voklogik, and the visitor is told that their details go to both of us. You are responsible for any consent, disclosure and marketing rules that apply to you.
• Upgrading from Topaz to Opal. When Opal opens you can upgrade at any time. Opal starts on the day you upgrade. The unused days of your current Topaz period are credited toward Opal for the rest of that period, and the full Opal price applies from the start of your next billing period.
• Widget pages and leads. Opal members can switch on a co-branded Voklogik page, shared by link or embedded on their own website. A visitor who ticks the consent box and sends their details creates a lead. The member and Voklogik each receive a copy. Following up is up to you, and you are responsible for following the laws and rules that apply to how you contact that person, including consent, licensing and advertising rules. The estimates on the page are for planning only and are not a loan offer, approval or commitment. You can switch your page off at any time.
• Founding offer. The first 20 businesses to join Opal Tier directly pay $49.99 per month for their first 12 months, then the regular price until they cancel. The offer is limited to the first 20 businesses and does not apply to customers who start on Topaz Tier and upgrade later.
• Your account and content. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what you add to reports and to your website, including that it is accurate, that you have the right to use any logo or photo you upload, and that it meets the licensing, advertising (including NMLS ID display) and Equal Housing rules that apply to you. You give us permission to store your uploads and place them on the reports you create. You can remove them at any time from the Topaz page. Reports remain estimates for planning only, and your branding does not mean any lender, brokerage or software provider endorses or is affiliated with Voklogik.
• Opal waitlist. Joining the waitlist is not a purchase.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service. This includes trying to get around the free report limit or payment, interfering with the site or its security, scraping it at scale, or using it for anything unlawful.

Ownership

The Service, its design and its code belong to Voklogik. Reports you create are yours to use for your own personal purposes.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Voklogik is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on the results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Changes and ending use

We may update the Service or these terms, and we will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Voklogik's business is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
